Motorola announced Lollipop update to their Moto E and Moto Maxx handsets over Twitter |
After releasing Lollipop updates to their mid-range-most-popular phone Moto G (both, 1st and 2nd Gen) last month Motorola started testing of Lollipop for their other handsets also. And as a part of the update process they roll out updates to their 'Motorola Update Services' app, which is necessary to get the update process rolling over that particular device. If you are a Moto E or Moto Maxx user then you must have the latest version of the 'Motorola Update Services' app.
Lollipop update (Soak Test) is currently available only in few countries. Soak Tests for Moto Maxx is available in Brazil and Mexico only, and Moto E updates are available in India and Brazil. And if the results are promising then Motorola will expand the Lollipop support all over the world and to their other devices also.
