Low range HTC One (E8) with 5-inch Screen And Plastic Body

HTC announced its new flagship model from the One Vogue Edition (M8 Ace), a cheap one with plastic unibody at the back of the phone.

HTC announced this new version of their master piece One (M8) rather cheap with plastic body instead of Aluminium body. This new E8 is announced considering worldwide market for low budget versions of their flagships.

Comparing both the devices then the dimensions of both the devices are almost same (146.36 x 70.6 x 9.35mm) and display (5-inch 1920x1080), but E8 is lighter than M8 (145g and 160g respectively).

The HTC One M8 launched the Duo Camera in a fanfare, offering a wide range of functions using the UltraPixel sensor combined with a second sensor to capture depth. It's also drawn some criticism, with many wanting a higher resolution and the likes of optical image stabilisation. The HTC One E8 has a regular 13-megapixel sensor on the back,it does not have the premium functions of M8 .

There is a little difference in the hardware of both the devices, both come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with 2GB of RAM. Both have 16GB internal memory with microSD expansion.Both also offer 4G LTE connections. But the E8 offers dual nano SIM support.

The Dual support may be introduced considering the Europe, North America and Asia market.

Both the versions have latest Android 4.4 Kitkat and Sense 6.0 therefore providing almost similar software experience.

HTC launched E8 with the price rate of £267 in China whereas the cost of M8 is £549 SIM free direct from HTC, almost half of the M8.

So what will you loose if you go with the new cheap version E8. Nothing much precisely.

You will be using latest Android on the same hardware as M8 has, the only drawback of the E8 is that it does not have premium features of M8 which means less fun while capturing outdoor photos. And it has a plastic unibody instead of Aluminium which means less attractive ( compared to M8).

But considering all the facts and all we can say that E8 is a complete package at half price. So one must consider this phone while upgrading your existing phone.
